Fruit tie : standard in the bottle
We have a variety of fruit trees in our orchard. Given the quantity, we let Fruitdas press the apple harvest into juice or even cider.

Here in short the story of Fruitdas :
Haspengouw has long been an important fruit region. For many years, juice and cider were made here, mainly from standard fruit. However, this tradition has stalled. Many orchards were neglected and the fruit was no longer used.
Tastes differ, of course, but personally we find the taste of standard fruit special and full. A standard orchard also contributes to a natural and ecological landscape where there is room for old varieties to complete a full life cycle without being cut down.
We built the first press ourselves and bought a small fruit chopper, so production could begin.
Over the years the project grew, until we realized that our hobby material had reached the limits of its capabilities. At the same time, our production attracted more and more attention from interested parties. Starting our own company was inevitable.
But a company does not mean that we simply throw our original principles overboard. We have been producing apple juice from standard fruit for 10 years now and we will keep that taste. For about two years we searched for machines that can deliver the quality we set ourselves. This means that we decided not to press according to the classical methods. In contrast to the usual tire press, we opt for a baler and glass bottles with a deposit, in order to retain the full flavor of the apple.
In short, we do everything we can to make apple juice and cider in the most sustainable way possible, which also comes from the fruit region of Belgium.
