To create a pleasant stay for you and the other guests at B&B Ca'Triz, the following house rules apply.
General
The guest rooms are owned and managed by B&B Ca'Triz, called the caretaker. In some cases, the manager can be replaced by another host or representative. These General Terms and Conditions / house rules apply to all users of Bed & Breakfast Ca'Triz. These Terms and Conditions come into force with the confirmation of the reservation. Upon request, a copy of these Terms and Conditions will be provided to users free of charge.
Reservation
When making a reservation, the number of people who will spend the night at B&B Ca'Triz must always be stated correctly.
In the case of an overnight stay with children, the age of the child(ren) must be stated in the reservation request. The room can accommodate a maximum occupancy of 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). It is not allowed to spend the night and/or stay with more than the maximum number of people per room. This number applies regardless of the age of the person staying in the room.
By entering into a rental agreement for your stay, these General Terms and Conditions and house rules come into force. The host/hostess can immediately deny and/or refuse guests access to B&B Ca'Triz in the event of a violation of these General Terms and Conditions / house rules and in the event of inappropriate behaviour, without further notice or reason and without compensation for the accommodation costs.
The reservation can be made verbally, by telephone, via the website or by e-mail. After receipt we will send you a confirmation of the reservation and your reservation is final. The balance of your booking must be paid one week before arrival or in cash on arrival.
In the event of violation of the and/or maximum occupancy indicated on the reservation form, B&B Ca'Triz will charge 100% of the overnight rate applicable at that time per violation, on top of the accommodation costs already due.
Visitors
If you wish to receive guests, please inform the host in advance.
Checking in
In principle, check-in is possible from 4:00 PM. A different time can be arranged in consultation with the host/hostess. Check-in is preferably before 21:00.
In any case, indicate at least one day before arrival at what time you expect to arrive and call the host or hostess on the day itself 30 minutes before arrival. This way there is certainly someone present and you do not have to wait unnecessarily. For example, you can also arrive earlier to put down your luggage and collect the key. You can report to the front door of the B&B before checking in.
Checking out
Check-out is possible between 07:00 and 11:00 on the day of departure. Depending on the occupancy, a different check-out time may apply in consultation with (and after permission from) the host or hostess. However, the guideline remains 11:00 am.
Key management
On arrival you will receive from the host 1 key and 1 remote control of the gate, intended for your stay. You must ensure that the doors of your accommodation are locked and that the lighting is switched off. When checking out, please return the key to the host or hostess.
If you lose a key, B&B Ca'Triz will charge you € 200.00.
Breakfast
If you use the breakfast service, we ensure that a fresh breakfast is ready for you every morning. The breakfast basket is ready for you in the kitchen/breakfast room every morning at the agreed time.
Bed linen and towels
For longer stays, towels and bed linen are changed as desired. The costs of this are included in the price unless other agreements have been made about this.
Guarantee hygiene
It is not allowed to sleep on the beds in the rooms without sheets and pillowcases.
In the event that non-removable stains occur in the mattress, duvet, bedspread and decorative pillows or towels during the overnight stay, B&B Ca'Triz will charge the resulting cleaning costs and/or costs for replacing the materials to the customer.
prices
The prices include water, electricity, heating, VAT, WIFI and free parking on the grounds of B&B Ca'Triz.
In the unlikely event that the services such as WiFi do not function or do not function properly during the stay at B&B Ca'Triz, this does not entitle the customer to a refund of all or part of the room price due.
The rates do not include the costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance and/or other costs. Rates of the B&B are always non-binding and subject to interim changes. All statements on our website are deemed to have been provided in good faith and are always subject to interim adjustments. B&B Ca'Triz is not bound by obvious errors on its website. With a double reservation, it is not possible for only one of the two guests to book breakfast.
Cancel
You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. You pay the total price of the reservation if you cancel within 7 days before arrival. If your reservation does not show up (no show), the full reservation price will be charged.
Terms of payment
In the event of late payment, default interest is due by operation of law and without a reminder having to be sent at an interest rate of 10% per year, also to be increased by a fixed compensation of 10% (this compensation cannot amount to less than €40).
Law and Court
Belgian law applies. The courts where B&B is located (registered office) are authorized to take cognizance of any dispute
Parking
You can park your car for free in the designated areas on the site. If the parking lot is full, the host or hostess will show you another place in the yard to park. Parking is only allowed for the duration of the stay at B&B Ca'Triz. Bicycles can also be parked free of charge in the bicycle shed provided for this purpose. Parking on the grounds at B&B Ca'Triz is at your own risk. B&B Ca'Triz is not liable for theft and/or any form of damage.
Sound
B&B Ca'Triz asks its guests to refrain from loud noises in their rented accommodation and the common areas. All music – and any other sound – produced in any way must be tuned to room strength, so that no noise nuisance is created for local residents and is prohibited in any case from 22:00 in the evening to 07:00 in the morning. We ask guests to take into account noise nuisance on the entrance and terrace.
Waste
Garbage can be deposited in the appropriate waste containers. You may leave empty glassware or plastic, which the host or hostess will clean up for you in connection with waste separation.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the room. In the kitchen on the ground floor.
Smoking
At B&B Ca'Triz, smoking is prohibited in the accommodations and common areas. In consultation you can smoke on the terrace, provided that this does not bother others and safety is not compromised. During smoking, the doors and windows of the accommodation must be closed. The terrace must remain butt free. Butts must therefore be left in the designated butt bin. The misuse of fire/extinguishing equipment or disabling the smoke detector is not permitted.
Alcohol and (soft) drugs
Alcohol abuse is prohibited, so enjoy, but drink in moderation. It is strictly forbidden to possess, use and/or trade drugs at B&B Ca'Triz. Police are always called in.
Internet
B&B Ca'Triz offers a WIFI guest network. The user will refrain from visiting internet websites that are of an unlawful nature or that are inconsistent with the reputation of B&B Ca'Triz as a provider of accommodation. Upon detection or suspicion of nuisance from third parties and/or (other) internet abuse by the user, B&B Ca'Triz has the right to block access to the internet, whether or not completely, without further notice.
Injury
B&B Ca'Triz is in no way liable for any form of damage, loss or theft that you have or experience during your stay at B&B Ca'Triz.
If damage is caused to the accommodation or its furnishings during your stay, you must inform the host. Any costs to get it back to its original condition will be charged. The cleaning or replacement of carpets, floor, linen, furniture or interior as a result of stains caused by falling over or bumping will be charged to you.
The manager of the B&B is not liable for loss of personal property and personal injury.
Complaints
Of course we do our utmost to offer our guests a carefree and unforgettable stay. If, despite our good care, there is a complaint, we would like to hear about it on the spot so that we can solve it immediately.
